In Switzerland the dogs are registered in a data bank, the owner receives for her dog a canine card, necessary for its transfer through the EU.
They must also take a compulsory course, before having the theoretical dog and after having it, the practical one. They must register with their municipality and pay a tax.
Dogs and cats entering Switzerland must have a vaccination record and show that they have been vaccinated against rabies.
