France recognized dogs and cats as "living beings endowed with sensitivity" and grants them rights as living beings.
Its capital Paris is known as a "dog-friendly" city. They have dog-friedly parks, restaurants where you can access them and stores where there are no problems to make your comparison with your dog. Small dogs (less than 45cm) can access on a leash or in small baskets in public transport, not collecting their feces can bring a fine of up to € 450.
There are parks and gardens where entry is prohibited, on the other hand you can go with them to the Bois de Boulogne, Bois de Vincennes or the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, always tied.

Only guide dogs are allowed in museums and monuments.
